Så er pop-up galleri í Dali igen ude med en fernisering. Igen åbnes dørene til det smukke lokale hos Voice Incorporated på Christianshavn – Strandgade 36A, 1401 København K. Der bydes på et glas, snacks og spændende samtaler.
Denne gang er temaet “stærke fortællinger”.
Det er 3 kunstnere med noget på hjertet, som de også udtrykker gennem malerier.
Nat Aske laver sine malerier på træ med akryl, Regina bruger akryl på lærred, abstrakt figurativ og Eydis udstiller sit 18 lærred værk, abstrakt med akryl, sand, bladguld og andre materialer.
En sej fællesnævner for disse 3 kunstnere er, at de alle er frivillige menneskebøger hos Menneskebiblioteket, der har til formål nedbryder stigmatisering og fordomme, én samtale ad gangen.

Pop-up galleri í Dali blev grundlagt af Eydis Dali i 2019. Det er et galleri med skiftende tema, kunstnere og beliggenhed.
Det hele startede med at Eydis lavede et abstrakt værk af 18 lærreder. Dette værk fortæller om det 18 måneder lange stalking forløb hun var udsat for i 2014 til 2016. Værket har samme titel og er i forlængelse af hendes bog #StopStalking fra 2018. Endnu en kreativ form som Eydis bruger til at bearbejde det traumatiske stalking forløb.
Galleriet er en platform til bl.a. at få svære emner og tabuer frem i lyset.
“I maj måned 2019 kontaktede jeg en anden galleri-ejer, da jeg ønskede at værket skulle udstilles for at fortælle og oplyse om stalking. Der blev jeg opfordret til at lavet et pop-up galleri. Som sagt, så gjort og på baggrund af succesen fra sidste år, hvor temaet var ‘psykisk vold’ holder jeg nu pop-up fernisering for anden gang med temaet ‘stærke fortællinger’.
Formålet er at samle folk og få nogle gode samtaler og hyggeligt samvær”.

And Voice Incorporated invites us into their beautiful location in Christianshavn – Strandgade 36A, 1401 Copenhagen. We offer a glass, snacks and exciting conversations.
This time the theme is “strong stories”.
There are 3 artists whom have something important to say, which they also express through paintings.
Nat Aske makes his art on wood with acrylic, Regina uses acrylic on her canvases, abstract figurative and Eydis exhibits her 18 piece, abstract with acrylic, sand, gold leaf and other materials.
A fun fact for these 3 artists is that they are all voluntary human books at the Human Library, which purpose is to break down stigma and prejudice, one conversation at a time.

Pop-up gallery í Dali was founded by Eydis Dali in 2019. It is a gallery with changing artists, theme and location.
It all began with her creation of one abstract piece of 18 canvases. The art piece tells the story of the 18-month long stalking process she was exposed to in 2014 to 2016. The art piece has the same title and is in continuation of her book # StopStalking from 2018. Yet another artform that Eydis uses to work through the very traumatic stalking.
The gallery is a platform, amongst others, to bring difficult topics and taboos to the table.
“In The month of May 2019, I contacted another gallery owner, sin e I wanted to exhibit the art piece and allow it to tell the story and inform about stalking. She encouraged me to do a pop-up gallery. No sooner said than done and based on the success of the year prier, where the theme was ‘psychological violence’, I’m happily opening the doors to my second pop-up exhibition, with the theme ‘strong stories’.
The purpose is to get people together and have some great conversations and a nice time.
